Crypto is a ‘speculative vehicle’ and should be regulated, says boss of central bank group BIS

Cryptocurrencies should face more regulation, according to the Bank for International Settlements’ General Manager Agustin Carstens. CNBC’s Joumanna Bercetche interviewed Carstens, who does not view crypto as a threat to central banks or the existing financial system.
